Introducing Eat Wandsworth and the SLICE Card

Introducing Eat Wandsworth and the SLICE Card

| by Tooting Newsie, Editor | Posted in News

We’d like to introduce the new community Interest Company called Eat Wandsworth. The project was started by a local Wandsworth resident called Luke Pomaro, so we went to meet Luke at Brickwood Cafe, in Tooting Market to find out more about Eat Wandsworth.

Luke: Eat Wandsworth started with the idea of giving back to the community. I’ve recently been busy visiting local foodie businesses around Wandsworth to get them signed up to our SLICE Card project.

The SLICE card is a new local discount dining card (supporting local independent charities). The concept is to provide card holders with great local food discounts, whilst a portion of the bill also heads to a monthly nominated local charity.
The card is 100% free & we're hoping the project will benefit the whole community - restaurants, charities & residents. We have a few deals already live and are talking to lots of Tooting restaurants to bring you more great SLICE offers!

We’ve already got some great local restaurants signed up to our SLICE card project – you’ll see these on our website with all the current offers – I’m excited to say that I have more signing up every week.

Any businesses that come on board will get featured and promoted by us to our thousands of social media followers and on our weekly newsletter. So if you’re a business or a resident then we’d love to get you signed up. I’m looking forward to working with more Tooting food and drinks businesses soon.

We think that the SLICE card is a great idea and we are happy to support Luke with his project. We’ve got our card, so why not get yours?
