Tooting Town Partnership - Tooting is Poppyfied

Tooting Town Partnership - Tooting is Poppyfied

| by Tooting Newsie, Editor | Posted in News

Tooting Town Centre has been decked with 100 A3 poppies which will be up for the whole month of November.

In addition to the Tooting Town Centre Partnership and Wandsworth Council, many local businesses as well as local residents have very kindly made contributions to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. This was achieved through donations to PC Tim Watford, who is one of the Town Centre's dedicated ward Police Officers and is also registered with the charity to collect on behalf of the appeal.

I think many would agree that this is a very worthwhile cause, just take a look here at how the charity is currently serving those families of veterans in need of help.

If you would like to make a donation, or you would like a collection box in your business premises, or your customers and staff would like to make a contribution, then please contact Tim by email or you can donate through the British Legion website.
