St George's Hospital Charity host St George’s Hero Awards

St George's Hospital Charity host St George’s Hero Awards

Hero Awards

On 16 May 2019 St George’s Hospital Charity, based at St George’s Hospital in Tooting, held the St George’s Hero Awards at Wandsworth Civic Suite, hosted by TV presenter and actress Lorraine Kelly.

The evening saw hundreds of staff and supporters of St George’s Hospital Charity come together to celebrate the amazing work of the hospitals.

“Every day we hear about the incredible work our staff do,” said Jacqueline Totterdell, Chief Executive of St George’s Trust, “so it was a pleasure to be able to recognise some of our amazing contributions at last week’s ceremony. We were also touched by the number of patients and relatives of patients that told us just how caring and attentive our staff are. This was lovely to hear, and testament to the strength of feeling for St George’s and Queen Mary’s in the community.”
