Celebrate NYE at The Selkirk and Raise Money for St George's!
Love St George’s Hospital? Been watching ‘24 Hours in A&E’? Then head to The Selkirk pub on New Year’s Eve!
The pub is holding a New Year’s Eve party where money will be raised for St George’s Hospital in Tooting. Entry is free, but guests who attend the 1970s/1980s-themed event will be asked for a discretionary £5 donation to Giving to George’s, the hospital charity – and the Selkirk has offered to match all donations on the night!
Doors open at 7.00pm and the first 50 guests will receive a complimentary glass of prosecco. The kitchen will be open as normal until 10pm, so you won’t go hungry. Guests are advised to arrive before 10pm as they’re expecting a large crowd!
Classic 70s and 80s tunes will be playing all night, bar staff will be mixing up some magnificent 80s cocktails, so guests are encouraged to wear the appropriate fancy dress, especially as there’ll be prizes for the best costumes!
Richard Martin, the Selkirk manager, says, “St. George’s does so much amazing work and is an integral part of our community. We thought that this would be a fantastic opportunity to show how much we appreciate the hospital and to give something back.”
Leah Watkins, Giving to George’s Community Fundraiser says, “We are delighted that the Selkirk are being so generous by supporting us on NYE. We hope everyone has a great night!"
So head down to the Selkirk on New Year’s Eve for a great night and to support a fantastic cause!
