Tooting Bec Lido is open!

Wandsworth Fringe finishes on Sunday! A multitude of art, theatre, music and more in Tooting and Wandsworth, including Out Of Place at Tooting and Balham Libraries.

 


Friday

DJ 7oel at The Tooting Tram and Social, free. Doors open 5pm.

Payback Cinema Club show Get On Up – The James Brown Story at the Gorringe. From 8pm, film starts 8.30, free.

Karaoke at The Corner Pin to raise money for the St George’s Hospital Charity. 8pm, free.

Soul, funk, reggae, ska, jazz, mod and northern tunes at The Vinyl Frontier. The Antelope, free, 8pm.

Live music at The Long Room Bar, 8.30, free.

Karaoke at The Rose and Crown, 9pm until late, free.

 


Saturday

The 2015 Tooting Aquathlon at Tooting Bec Lido. 7:30am (6:30am registration; 7:15am pool side warm up). Raise money for Ickle Pickles and First Touch NNU!

Vegetable plant sale to raise money for a community shed. At Tamworth Farm Allotment (behind Lavender Children's Centre), London Road, CR4 3LB. See here for more details.

Mollette Sandwiches served on the corner of Church Lane and Mitcham Road!

Wolf Club presents Throwback at The Tooting Tram and Social with live music from Brightlight, City, Vaiko & Glass Host DJs after. Free before 10pm, £3 after.

Live music from Ay Caramba at The Manor from 8pm, free.

Karaoke at The Rose and Crown, 9pm until late, free.

Blossom Yoga at The Tooting Tram and Social, 12pm to 1am, £8.

St Anselms School Fair. 12pm to 4pm. Kids’ rides, food and fun. 19 Tooting Bec Road, SW17 8BS, near Tooting Bec Station. All welcome! 

Games, an audio walk and a dip in the lido at this months Tooting Field Day from fanSHEN. Meet at 1.30pm, Mushkil Aasaan, 220-222 Upper Tooting Road. Free, but booking advisable.

The Sunday Session at Ben’s Canteen – jugs of cocktails, DIY gin boards, rosé over ice, buckets of beer and their take on an epic BBQ. From 4pm until late.

Traditional live Irish music at The Ramble Inn, 6pm – 9pm. Bring along an instrument if you want to join in!

The Breathing Room at The Antelope, featuring live music from The Hallelujah Trails, The Bara Bara Band, Winston Skerritt and Gabriel Mesh. Doors 7.30, £5.

Pub quizzes at The Gorringe and The Long Room in the evening!
