24 Hours in Tooting a Huge Success!
Last weekend (6am to 6am on the 18-19 July to be precise) saw Tooting Daily PRSS launch their first social media event, 24 Hours in Tooting, and we were amazed by its success.

Tooting was tweeting before the event...
Looking forward to seeing what our #Furzedown buddies are up to for #24HrsToots this weekend. https://t.co/XGseOeWkxV

Knowing that Tooting has a vibrant online community, we wanted to see what everyone got up to in a 24 hour period...

All of Tooting seemed to want to shout about the amazing place in which we live, work and enjoy!

There was stuff happening in Tooting Market (as always)...
The sun shone, Tooting was smiling and everyone had a great time.
Kicking off nicely on Longley Road this evening, big beats and bouncy castles! #tooting #24HrsToots pic.twitter.com/iGqPDQYav6

This just goes to show what a strong and friendly community Tooting is (proving wrong a recent spurious report that Tooting is the unfriendliest place in London).
Good to see peeps enjoying Tooting Common including lido - we can't wait to hold our festival! #3 weeks! #24HrsToots pic.twitter.com/IOzfx1ZVcc

We could go on about how wonderful it was, but we’ll let Tooting speak for itself!
See all the action on our Storify post, or search #24HrsToots on Twitter and Instagram. We also recommend this fantastic piece by Tooting resident Dave Coles.
Thanks to EVERYONE for their tweets, pictures and more! We’re already planning 24 Hours in Tooting 2016!
