Early Bird Screening at Clapham Picture House
THE LONDON HORROR SOCIETY PRESENTS: EARLY BIRD
You can now catch the London Horror Society's first foray into film making at the Clapham Picture House on Monday 27th July.
It is being showing in conjunction with Ourscreen, and will be the first of hopefully multiple showings of Early Bird at the Picture House and – if it's well received – other surrounding cinemas too. The film is currently only certified to be shown in Lambeth, but if these screenings are successful then it will hopefully be able to stretch to a full UK classification.
Early Bird is a very dark, 'worst-case scenario' comedy based around the concept of flat sharing, and filmed entirely in Tooting. Everyone that has experienced this type of living arrangement has their own horror-stories and tales, and the film’s objective was to tap into these to highlight the absurdity of the entire scenario. You move into a house after meeting the current tenants during a twenty-minute interview, and then accept that you will be sharing your life and possessions with these people for an unspecified length of time.
The screening on will also feature a Q&A from the producer, director and key cast members. So if you're looking for something a little different on a Monday night, and you want to support true grass-roots film-making, then reserve your ticket now.
