Tooting football club seek new players
Tooting Bec FC ply their trade at step 7 of the UK football pyramid in the Surrey Elite League. The club has enjoyed huge success in their 11 years as a club, growing from 1 to 3 sides and winning a historic double in 2010.
New manager John O'Conner is currently building a strong 1st team squad for the new season next month and still has a few spots to fill before they kick off their campaign with a trip to Virginia Water FC on August the 15th.
John is particularly keen to recruit a new keeper, midfielder and forward to the ranks, but the club is always building so all players are welcome to come and trial. The club are ideally looking for ex-university standard or semi-pro level players, but everyone is welcome to trial for any one of their 3 sides.
Current training times are:
- Tuesdays: 8pm on Clapham Common
- Thursdays: 7pm on Tooting Common
Training moves to Wednesdays at the end of August when the club switches to the 3G under lights at the excellent home facility at the KNK stadium (home of Ryman league Tooting & Mitcham FC).
