Business Networking Event comes to Tooting
The first Tooting Business Networking Event took place at the Tooting Tram & Social last night.
The event, run by Tooting Daily PRSS and the Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce, aimed to facilitate greater networking and collaboration between local businesses. It was the first of many events to be held in Tooting, with future events to take place in different venues around the area.
The event, attended by around 50 local businesses, was introduced by Tooting Daily PRSS Publisher Dave Mauger, who spoke about the importance of local business collaboration. Next came Steve Pinto, Chief Executive of the Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce, who spoke about the benefits of joining Chamber, its many successes and its large and diverse range of members across the borough. He was followed by James Sandberg of Customer Devoted, who gave a presentation on online marketing strategies for businesses of all sizes. If you’d like to know more about James, please visit his website or email him at jsandberg@customerdevoted.com. There was also time for businesses to meet each other and exchange details. Feedback was wholly positive, with many businesses commenting on the relevance of the speakers and the usefulness of the event.
Tooting Daily PRSS and the Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce would like to thank The Tooting Tram & Social for hosting the event and Meza Restaurants for supplying the food.
Keep an eye out for another Tooting Business Networking Event in the next couple of months by following Tooting Daily PRSS and the Wandsworth Chamber of Commerce on Twitter.
Membership of the Chamber starts at just 41p per day. If you’re a Tooting business that wishes to join the Chamber, then email Steve Pinto directly at steve@wandsworthchamber.org and mention Tooting Daily PRSS to receive 10% off your membership fee.
