The Open Studios, held from Thursday 11 to Sunday 14 May 2017 at Wimbledon Art Studios, is one of the only times the doors are flung open to professional buyers and the general public.

The event promises an immersive experience of the studios and gives visitors the opportunity to meet over 150 artists and makers. The event offers 4 days to explore 8 floors of contemporary paintings, prints, photography, illustration, sculpture, ceramics, textiles and furniture design. All the art is direct from the studios with 0% commission on everything.

Other highlights include an official launch party on Thursday evening, talks and workshops, family activities and trails on Saturday and Sunday, plus a range of food and drink from the likes of The Mood Café and The Flying Ducks.

The Open Studios will be offering an entire day (Friday 12 May) dedicated to professional art buyers, including gallery owners, interior designers and corporate buyers. Llimited places are available for an exclusive tour, meet and greets with headline artists and makers and the opportunity to buy affordable art for clients. Wimbledon Art Studios will offer small board works for purchase before the event in the form of 300 x 300mm wooden blocks that artists use as a base for an original piece.
