Abseil for St George’s Hospital Charity
St George's Hospital Charity is offering thrill seekers the opportunity to abseil down St George’s Hospital's tallest building this September!
The charity, which makes a real difference to the lives of patients and staff all year round by providing state-of-the-art equipment, and supporting ground-breaking research and patient therapies, is holding the abseil on September 16.
Participants will have the chance to abseil down the Pelican Hotel building on the St George’s Hospital site in Tooting, which at 14 storeys, is 150ft high.
The abseil will be a truly unforgettable experience and a great way to do something for an amazing cause, with participants able to donate the money they raise to the ward, department or Appeal of their choice. St George’s Hospital Charity has more than 250 funds and a range of Appeals so that people can direct the money they raise to the area of the hospital that they are most interested in donating to.
Registration fee for charity abseil places is £25 and all participants are asked to pledge to raise a minimum of £125 in sponsorship money.
