Have you grown grapes? Make them part of Chateau Tooting!
This year, The Urban Wine Company are going to be harvesting members’ grapes to make Chateau Tooting at a venue in Clapham. This venue has been kindly provided by Devas Club, an organisation aimed at creating community opportunities for young people.
They are currently looking for new members and local grape-growers to contribute to this year’s bottling.
The all-important harvest info:
- Date: Saturday 30th September 2017
- Time: 8am until noon
- Venue: 2a Stormont Road, London, SW11 5EN
The Urban Wine Company will weigh member’s grapes to let know how many bottles they are entitled to – approx 2kg of grapes will equal 1 bottle. The wine returned will be a rosé wine due to the variety of grapes harvested.
Members’ wine will be available to collect in April/May 2018, just in time for the rosé drinking season!
