The Institute for Infection & Immunity Jennerosity Charity Event took place over the summer at St George’s University of London.

This year, the sponsored charity was Wandsworth Oasis; a local charity helping people affected by HIV. Gill Perkins, Chief Executive of Wandsworth Oasis, attended the event and announced the raffle prize winners.

The Institute for Infection & Immunity raised £525 from its sale of raffle tickets with prizes kindly donated by local Tooting businesses, as well as home-baked cakes.

Melanie Monteiro, Research Institute Manager, said: "A big thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets, to those who baked cakes and to the businesses that donated the raffle prizes."

Among local businesses who supported the initiative were Morleys Department Store, The Castle Pub, and the Wimbledon Foundation.
