Lebanese diner and takeaway Shawafel on Upper Tooting Road is celebrating its first birthday this week with a special offer for local residents.

Shawafel has an extensive menu of hot & cold mezze and grilled favourites prepared by their Lebanese chef and encourage customers to try their delicious shawarma (roasted slices of marinated chicken or lamb) as well as their mixed grill, consisting of real charcoal-grilled skewers of seasoned minced lamb kofta, marinated lamb cubes, chicken cubes, shawarma lamb & shawarma chicken. Grilled meat is better for your health, as the fat is able to drip away.

And to mark it’s one-year anniversary here in Tooting, from Monday 7^th August to Sunday 13^th August inclusive, Shawafel is offering 25% off the total food & drink bill to anyone who quotes ‘Tooting Daily PRSS’ whilst ordering from 3pm to close. This offer is for ‘Eat-In’ customers only.
 

The diner has a 5 star hygiene rating and prides itself on offering quality Lebanese cuisine in a clean and comfortable environment. They are open every day from 12 Noon - 11.30pm and there is a 10% discount for all NHS staff and students on production of an ID card. The restaurant is alcohol-free.
