Beer on the Common returns to Tooting!
Sambrook’s Brewery’s highly acclaimed annual birthday party returns for its fifth year on Saturday 9th September from midday until 9.30pm. Returning to Tooting Common, this year sees the event bigger than ever before.
The beer list for the event continues to grow with over 70 different beers from 20 different breweries. From porters to pale ales, bitters to old ales, there’ll be a flavour for everyone.
Joining the craft beer line-up will be Tooting residents Pilango, bringing a selection of craft cider. Pimms and a selection of non-alcoholic drinks will also be available.
Marauder Sound System will be mixing tunes in the afternoon before the live music kicks off. Curated by Flying Vinyl, there will be a fabulous mix of new music from rock to dream pop including, The Bay Rays, The Jar Family, Swimming Girls and Zuzu.
Festival goers will not go hungry – there’ll be a great street food selection including the popular Liberty Cheesesteak Company bringing Philly Cheesesteaks to South London; Piccadilly Pies from the Queen’s Head pub in Piccadilly; a great selection of desserts from Dee Light Bakery in Balham; plus burritos, burgers and more!
There will also be entertainment for kids, craft stalls and a Virtual Reality experience from VR Concept (which, we’re told, involves zombies)! For full details, visit http://www.sambrooksbrewery.co.uk/beer-on-the-common.
