The Sound Lounge have launched a campaign to save the venue after a new planning application for the RACS building on Upper Tooting Road has been submitted to Wandsworth Council.

The building is currently home to a number of businesses and organisations, including The Sound Lounge, The Tooting Shopping Mall and The Grand Room.

The developers propose to demolish the existing buildings, with the retention & restoration of the RACS building facade and redevelopment of the remainder of the site. 4 new shops are also proposed, as well as a unit for community use, a hotel, residential units, and parking facilities.
