BATCA’s annual Peace Ceremony will bring together faith and civic leaders to affirm values of peace, harmony and community.

Faith leaders in traditional robes will gather outside Tooting Broadway tube station to say short prayers for peace to emphasise Tooting’s strength and resilience in challenging times. BATCA (Balham And Tooting Community Association) hopes to have leaders of the Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim and Sikh faiths present.

Everyone will be welcome to gather and light candles. The event aims to demonstrate how different faiths and members of civic society can unite in full public view to celebrate community and affirm commonly-held values.

All are welcome at 6pm to 7pm on Tuesday 14th November at Tooting Broadway Station.
