​ ​	Introducing our new Community Partner Tooting Bec Dental. Here, Dr Imran Arbee tells us all about the practice and his love for Tooting.

One of our aims at Tooting Bec Dental is to make patients feel as comfortable as possible as we realise that a lot of people aren't keen on visiting the dentist.

Therefore we have an Anxious Patient Programme – we assign specific teams members to individual patients to liaise with them. This means that the patient sees the same person every time they visit, thus putting them at ease. We’re really proud to offer such a personal touch.

We make sure to listen to the expectations and needs (and fears, if they have any) of our patients. As I said, many see a dentist visit as a nerve-wracking experience – we’re here to talk you through every step of the process and give you our expert advice. 
 

We offer every dental service possible, plus a few extras! As well as making sure your teeth are healthy, we also provide teeth whitening, dental implants, cosmetic makeovers – even botox.

We’re so happy to have our practice in Tooting. My family and I have lived here since 1999, apart from a brief sojourn in Essex – however, our love for Tooting made us move back and open our practice in 2013.

Everything is easily accessible here. Whatever you want is on your doorstep and the restaurants in Tooting are really vibrant and alive. Anything you want to eat is here, so it’s great for kids as well. I really admire all the new places opening up – it’s great to see some young enthusiastic blood coming in, whilst keeping the old businesses that have been here for years.
 

We’re regulars at Spice Village (we love the new decor!), Chicken Cottage, and Habaneros – we’re big fans of their food! We also use the common all the time and cycle all over Tooting. Our family are very keen cyclists (so much so that we have bike stands outside the practice for patients).

Tooting is a very modern and forward-thinking community. It’s becoming more and more cosmopolitan, there’s a wonderful mix of people, and we’re immensely proud to be part of it!
