‘Tis the season for a festive wreath

‘Tis the season for a festive wreath

Kavita Bowry, Communications and Development Manager at Share Community with details on how you can order a fantastic festive wreath and support Share at the same time.

Yes, it is that time of year again. Time to pull out the decorations and lights, and plan for the coming festivities with family and friends.

And, this year, Share’s horticulture students have got the perfect party piece to bring some festive cheer to your Christmas celebrations! For some months now our students have been busy designing Christmas wreaths using greenery from the Share Garden and a mixture of cones, dried chillies and oranges, berries and ribbons.

Each unique handmade wreath is sure to brighten up any front door and add a special touch to your Christmas.

This work forms part of our employability skills programme at Share, which supports our students to gain valuable real-life work experience producing work for sale or working in the service industry, such as our social enterprises Share Catering and Share Gardening.

We are now taking orders for Christmas wreaths for collection from late November through December. Wreaths are priced at £12.50 to £15 per wreath. Orders can be placed until 15th November 2017. And we're requesting that you pay a small deposit when ordering your festive wreath.

To place your order, contact Sarah Bailes, our horticulture training manager, via email at or telephone 07837 180 774.
