Wimbledon Art Fair is celebrating its 25th anniversary this month. Formerly known as the Wimbledon Open Studios, this event is an exciting opportunity to browse, discover and buy art directly from over 150 of London’s leading contemporary artists and makers.
As well as the chance to explore the working studios of the artists, other highlights of the weekend include:
- Thursday 16 Nov, 6.30pm – 10pm: Official launch party with special guest Keith Brymer Jones (ceramicist and judge on BBC2’s The Great Pottery Throw Down) plus live music and a free bar.
- Friday 17 Nov, 7pm: Art Auction in aid of St George’s Hospital Charity. The gallery will be auctioning a selection of contemporary artworks donated by Wimbledon artists. All money raised will be donated to St George’s to support the arts programme.
- Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 Nov: A selection of workshops and activities for all ages such as sugar sculpting with Jacqui Kelly, flower making with Joanne Edwards Millinery and kids’ activities with Art-K Wimbledon.
