Juici Jerk Celebrate One Year Anniversary!

Juici Jerk Celebrate One Year Anniversary!

| by Editor | Posted in News, Food & Drink, Business & Finance

Juici Jerk, the Caribbean food venture run by two young Tooting entrepreneurs, are celebrating their one year anniversary this week – and they have big news to share!

After having to work out of a kitchen in Streatham for the past few months, they are now back in their Tooting homeland in a much bigger commercial kitchen space on Garratt Lane, meaning they can expand their business – and this includes their food now being available to order via Uber Eats!

Juici Jerk is run by brothers Troy and Jarrell Johnson, Ernest Bevin alumni who have been bringing delicious Caribbean food to the local area over the last 12 months – some of our regular readers may remember our original article on the launch of the business.

Alongside their classic jerk chicken main dishes, wraps, burgers and their shrimp mac and cheese, they are now offering a whole range of fish dishes, curried mutton, curried goat, along with both vegetarian and vegan options such as chickpea and sweet potato curry.

It’s a family thing! Troy Johnson along with sister, Shola and cousin, Georgia

They’re also continuing their relationship with fellow Tooting young entrepreneur, Joshua Mitchell who runs Mac’s Cafe in the Trident Business Centre. Juici Jerk supply their jerk chicken, burgers and curried goat wraps which are available to be purchased at Mac’s every lunchtime Wednesday – Friday.

You can follow Juici Jerk on Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat @juici_jerk) pages and place your orders instantly via those channels, via Uber Eats, or by phone (07498 045 416). The guys deliver the food to customers anywhere within a 3-mile radius.

Juici Jerk are cooking and open for business every Wednesday – Friday 12-8pm, with greater opening times coming soon.

So please support these great young local entrepreneurs by enjoying their delicious food – the Tooting Daily PRSS team can vouch for it!

Juici Jerk have been supported in their growth not only by their family and friends but by the team at Business Launchpad (based in The Trident Centre), who have provided free 1-2-1 mentoring and access to valuable workshops.

Business Launchpad offers free business support & counselling to young entrepreneurs aged 16-30 in Wandsworth. To find out more about Business Launchpad, click here.
