Thrale Almshouse Charity has a fund of £40,000 which they’d like to make available to community groups in Tooting.

Their endowment supports organisations which help to relieve need and distress among the local population. Beneficiaries could be old or young, and from any community in the area.

Their catchment area includes SW17 and SW12, as well as parts of Lambeth and Southwark, but they’re looking for applications from Wandsworth-based organisations, in particular those in SW17. 

They’ll be asking for applications in the autumn and organisations can usually bid for up to £5,000.
