Alert the pup-arazzi...The Tooting Common Fun Dog Show is back on Sunday 10 June, and open to all!

Registration is from 1pm, with the Show starting at 2pm.  As in previous years, the Show will be in the Events Area of Tooting Common (the area on the main common by, and to the east of, the Dr Johnson Avenue car park, just north of the changing rooms/pavilion).

The categories are:

• Most handsome dog
• Prettiest bitch
• Junior handler (up to 8 years)
• Young handler (8 to 16 years)
• Best puppy (under 18 months)
• Best fancy dress
• Best veteran (over 8 years)
• Best trick
• Best rescue
• Waggiest tail

Entry is £3 per dog, per class.

The Dog Show is always a well attended event, but takes a lot of organisation, so the Friends of Tooting Common would very much welcome help from members in running it on the day. In particular, they need help from 12pm in setting up the event. This will involve some heavier work, but when shared between people will not be difficult. If you’re able to help with the Show, in this or other ways, please email Peter at peter.ramell@btinternet.com.
