Random Act Of Kindness in Tooting!
A random act of kindness helped Digilab Tooting get back on its feet after the devastating recent theft of valuable equipment that it uses to teach digital skills to local youngsters.
An anonymous party donated two MacBook Pro’s to their office in the Trident Business Centre, replacing the ones that were stolen from their premises by an intruder last month.
We would like to thank to everyone who made contribution to our @gofundme campaign and especially a massive thank you to the anonymous doner who donated us two new mac's and we would like to show our appreciation of this gift with a short clip @BusinessLP @TootingPRSS @wandbc pic.twitter.com/F0den8FCmt

At the end of May, Digilab Tooting was burgled, losing much of the equipment that it uses to provide valuable tech support and training to local young people aged 13 upwards. Many of the young people they work with are vulnerable and come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Many also have behavioural issues, low confidence and would not have access to digital skills training without Digilab Tooting's resources.
Digilab Tooting is only less than a year old and to experience this kind of situation was gutting to the team. As well the hardware that was stolen, the equipment contained lesson plans and course material covering an eight month curriculum.
However, this incredibly generous act has helped the team to bounce back and continue with its great work – not only teaching digital skills to the next generation, but also now providing businesses in Tooting with digital support.
