Kavita Bowry, Communications and Development Manager at Share Community is looking for people to help Tooting’s Share Garden grow! |

You’ve heard me waxing lyrical about the Share Garden many a time in this blog. It’s a place I love because I see the joy it brings to so many people and the potential it has to change lives.
Share’s gorgeous garden in Tooting is looking for two people passionate about gardening and supporting people into employment through horticulture to help take our budding gardening social enterprise to the next level.
Share Nurseries sells plants, produce and garden creations while providing safe and supported work opportunities for our students to help them reach their potential and achieve their employment goals.
These opportunities represent a rare chance to make your mark while making a difference in a wonderfully warm and diverse community. So we need people with drive and confidence to build a thriving business that is both commercially viable and compassionate, as well a resource for all the community to enjoy.
This project is a challenge like no other – you’ll need to be flexible, hard-working, pragmatic, innovative, resilient – someone who relishes problem-solving and gets things done, while holding Share values very close to their heart.
Our aim is to support our students to ensure they live more independent and happier lives, through training and employment. For the right people, the fruits of your labours will be in seeing that this vision become a reality for every student training at the Share Garden, while growing the reach of our community.
Would you like to share your passion for gardening and business with our students and our community? If so, we’d love to hear from you! The closing date for applications is 10am on 25th February 2019.
