The first @nnsw1217 ‘Neighbourhood Wednesday’ of the year took place this morning in its new location at @richards_kitchen_tooting and saw many local individuals and community groups come together to have a chat and get to know each other over tea and coffee! If you’re keen to know more people in the local area, then do pop along to the next one on Wednesday January 23rd between 10.45am and 12.00 Noon.⁣ All welcome! . . . . . . . . . . #Tooting #TootingBroadway #TootingBec #TootingCommon #Furzedown #Balham #ColliersWood #Earlsfield #Mitcham #Streatham #Wimbledon #Wandsworth #WandsworthCommon

#NEWTOTOOTING! @kissdumplings, a startup food business selling authentic, freshly-made Chinese dumplings 🥟 , has launched on @deliveroo! Owner Lin is originally from China 🇨🇳 and having lived in the UK for over 10 years and still not found a place in London that can make dumplings as good as her own, has decided to take matters into her own hands and start producing (and selling) them from her home kitchen in Tooting Bec!⁣ ⁣ Ably supported by her partner (and sous chef!) Przemek, Kiss Dumplings offers delicious chicken, pork and vegetable dumplings as well as vermicelli noodles and egg fried rice. You'll find Kiss Dumplings available on Deliveroo every day from 12 Noon, with big plans to grow in the future. Lin is an alumni of @businesslaunchpad (based in the @tridentcentre), the brilliant social enterprise that inspires and supports young entrepreneurs in the local area. Congratulations and good luck Lin and Przemek! . . . . . . . . . . #Tooting #TootingBroadway #TootingBec #TootingCommon #Furzedown #Balham #ColliersWood #Earlsfield #Mitcham #Streatham #Wimbledon #Wandsworth #WandsworthCommon

Velly’s refurbished her Filipino 🇵🇭 restaurant @adingskitchen in Broadway Market @bwmarkettooting and it’s looking ace! Now open Tuesday-Saturday from 9am (serving Filipino & English breakfasts!) until the market closes, fully-licensed with an enhanced menu and also available for private parties. And don’t worry karaoke fans, the system’s still very much in operation and still no-one has beaten Velly on Paper Roses! 😂 . . . . . . . . . . #Tooting #TootingBroadway #TootingBec #TootingCommon #Furzedown #Balham #ColliersWood #Earlsfield #Mitcham #Streatham #Wimbledon #Wandsworth #WandsworthCommon
