With the current cold weather, it’s more difficult than ever for those who are homeless. There are a number of local and national groups and organisations ready to help, with volunteering opportunities available and donations and other offers of help welcome. 

Crisis is a national charity for homeless people, and help people directly out of homelessness and campaign for the changes needed to solve it altogether.

Evolve Housing Support are a locally based charity provide a range of services to homeless and vulnerable people within London and are place of positive change and growth, enabling people to move on and lead independent lives.

Glass Door works in partnership with churches and community centres in London to provides shelter, advice and support to individuals affected by homelessness.

Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through our advice, support, and legal services.

Spear London enables people experiencing homelessness in South and West London to find secure accommodation and work towards a positive future.

Spires is a South London based charity that helps hundreds of homeless and disadvantaged people all year round.

Streetlink London exists to help end rough sleeping in the capital by enabling members of the public to connect people sleeping rough with the local services that can support them.

Tooting Community Kitchen aim to help alleviate poverty in South West London, by helping feed the homeless and those in need, and providing them with other vital resources. They provide a biweekly stall serving hot food and essential produce outside Iceland on Tooting High Street, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 6pm, and run a local foodbank which operates as a drop-in collection service.
